As the principal of Dirkstudio, Angela Dirks brings 25 years of experience to a wide range of project types. In addition to residential design, she has been project architect for retail and commercial projects. Her services include all phases of design and oversight from planning through construction administration. Specializing in interior architecture, she believes that communication is essential to understanding the goals and aspirations of each client. Outstanding architectural design requires a creative use of materials, attention to detail and overall project coordination.

As the daughter of an American diplomat, Angela’s childhood abroad fostered her interest in architecture and cities.

Angela received a Bachelor of Arts with honors from Columbia University and a Masters of Architecture from Princeton University. She is a registered architect in the State of New York. 

Angela lives in New York City with her family.
